CO2 Trading Scheme to Undergo Public Scrutiny Friday
Ljubljana, 2 September - Slovenia's plan for the allocation of greenhouse gas emissions stipulates that about 98 heavy industry companies will be granted coupons for 26.3 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per year between 2005 and 2007. The plan, which got the green light from the European Commission in July, will undergo public scrutiny at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Friday.
