PM Reportedly Promised Cooperation of Slovenian Troops in Iraq
Ljubljana, 2 September - Dimitrij Rupel, the former foreign minister, has claimed that Prime Minister Anton Rop, while visiting Denmark last year, promised his Danish counterpart that Slovenian troops would cooperate with Danish forces in Iraq. Incumbent FM Ivo Vajgl has meanwhile refuted the allegation made public by opposition Slovenian Democrats (SDS) leader Janez Jansa, Rupel's ally.
