Ljubljana, 3 September - Below is a schedule of events for Saturday, 4 September:
RUDNO POLJE NA POKLJUKI - Two associations of the 1991 Slovenian war veterans are to organise a gathering entitled "Veterans for Peace", with Prime Minister Anton Rop as the key-note speaker at 11 AM. (STA)
BLED - The 55th congress of the European Association for Animal Production (EAAP) is to begin, to be attended by 750 participants from 55 countries. The plenary session on Sunday is to be attended by Slovenian Agriculture Minister Milan Pogacnik.
LJUBLJANA - The STA will release an interview with head of the Trade and Investment Promotion Office (TIPO) Matej Kovac, who will speak about how to attract FDI to Slovenia. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - A report on the money managed by the Slovenian mutual funds over the past three months is to be released. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Press review, including an interview with Slovenia's European Commissioner Janez Potocnik to be published in Saturday's issue of daily Delo. (STA)
MAASTRICHT, the Netherlands - The two-day informal meeting of EU foreign ministers, including Slovenia's Ivo Vajgl, is to close, with a news conference scheduled for 6:30 PM.
GRASKA GORA - A gathering of WWII veterans and mountaineers at 11 AM. Bojan Kontic, the president of a regional association of WWII veterans, is to be the key-note speaker, with the Former President Milan Kucan also expected to attend.
OPICINA, Italy - The 39th gathering of Slovenian intellectuals, Draga 2004, is to continue. One of the highlights of the day is to be a session marking 15 years since the Slovenian World Congress was founded, scheduled for 3 PM.
PIRAN - The 39th international ex-tempore painting and the 5th ex-tempo ceramics will wrap up with an award ceremony and the opening of the exhibitions at 8 PM.
