Potocnik Makes Increase in R&D Funding Centrepiece of His Mandate

Ljubljana, 4 September - Slovenia's European commissioner Janez Potocnik, who will be in charge of science and research in the next European Commission, will make it one of his key objectives to increase the EU's spending on R&D to three percent of the Union's GDP by 2010.
