Ljubljana, 4 September - Below is a schedule of events for Sunday, 5 September:
OPICINA, Italy - The 39th gathering of Slovenian intellectuals, Draga 2004, will wrap up with an address at 4 PM by Barbara Brezigar, Slovenia's representative in Eurojust, an EU body coordinating the work of judicial authorities in the member states. She is expected to focus on the question whether Slovenia has become a modern state. The participants in the event will also celebrate the 80th birthday of writer Alojz Rebula.
BLED - The plenary session of the 55th congress of the European Association for Animal Production will open at 8:30 AM. Attendance by Agriculture Minister Milan Pogacnik is expected. (STA)
NADLESK - A ceremony is scheduled for 11 AM to mark the 6Oth anniversary of cooperation between the leadership of the National Liberation Struggle and the Allies; the key-note speaker will be Janez Stanovnik, president of the WW II National Liberation Struggle Veterans.
