The Government will call for a vote of confidence
Ljubljana, 23 November - "The government has decided to call for a vote of confidence" stated its Minister of Conservation and Environmental Planning Dr. Miha Jazbinšek for STA. This decision will expectedly be "operationalized" tomorrow. Delegates of the republican parliament are expected to discuss this at an extraordinary session, perhaps already next week. Dr. Jazbinšek is otherwise of the opinion that this issue is quite undetermined in Slovenia. The government can demand a vote of confidence in certain circumstances, for example, when it cannot carry out its policies, due to broader issues. It can also do this in a concrete case, when the parliament cannot vote through its proposal.
