Potocnik Calls for More R&D Funds at ALDE Panel

Ljubljana, 8 September - The number of objectives set in the Lisbon Strategy is too great, so it would make sense to set priorities that would put to the fore Europe's economic growth. To achieve that, it is crucial to increase funding for research and development, and higher education, Slovenian European Commissioner Janez Potocnik told a panel of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE).
