Slovenia Sides with Advocates of Greater Budget Spending

Ljubljana, 9 September - Slovenia is in favour of a restrictive EU budget in terms of a rational use of the funds available, yet it has not joined the six largest budget contributors that want to keep spending at the current level, at 1 percent of the Union's GNP, Europe Minister Milan M. Cvikl said Thursday as he outlined the government's stance on the matter.
