KOPER - An European energy terminal in the port of Koper is to be opened at 2 PM. The new terminal for bulk cargo was built according to high environment-friendly standards. The opening ceremony to be attended by PM Anton Rop and Transport Minister Marko Pavliha. (STA)
KRANJ - The training of a unit for decontamination, which is getting ready to take part in NATO's reaction force, is to be presented as the Kranj Barracks have an open house day. Defence Minister Anton Grizold expected to attend.
SCHEVENINGEN, The Netherlands - A two-day informal meeting of EU finance ministers, including Slovenia's Dusan Mramor, is to end. Talks focus on the EU's next financial perspective and reform of the Stability and Growth Pact.
VILENICA - The laureate of the 2004 Vilenica festival of literature, German writer Brigitte Kronauer, is to receive the Vilenica Grand Prix at a ceremony scheduled for 7:45 PM. Due to an illness, she will not attend the event.
WROCLAW, Poland - Slovenia is to take on Poland in a second match in group D of qualifying for the 2005 European Basketball Championships; at 1:30 PM. (STA)
