Ljubljana, 12 September - The top business news this week was Wednesday's opening of the 37th International Trade Fair in Celje, the biggest business event of any kind in Slovenia, which expects to attract 170,000 visitors until next Wednesday. Also making headlines this week was the exchange of words between Finance Minister Dusan Mramor and an opposition leader on Slovenia's public debt, after Mramor revealed on Monday a higher debt figure was being reported to the EU than had been presented to the Slovenian public earlier in the year.
