MONDAY, 13 September
BRUSSELS, Belgium - EU foreign ministers are to debate the proposals of the European Commission on the EU budget period for 2007-2013. Foreign Minister Ivo Vajgl and European Affairs Minister Milan M. Cvikl are to represent Slovenia.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Foreign Minister Ivo Vajgl is due to take part in a OSCE-sponsored conference on tolerance and the fight against racism, xenophobia and discrimination.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - European Affairs Minister Milan M. Cvikl is scheduled to meet European Commissioner for Regional Policies Jacques Barrot.
THE HAGUE, Netherlands - Ljubo Germic, the chair of the parliamentary committee for EU affairs, is to attend a meeting of chairs of EU affairs committees from the European Union.
LJUBLJANA - The Ljubljana Municipality and the Environment Ministry are to hold a joint press conference to speak about the upcoming European Mobility Week.

TUESDAY, 14 September
BELGRADE, Serbia-Montenegro - Foreign Minister Ivo Vajgl is scheduled to pay an official visit to Serbia-Montenegro.
BRDO PRI KRANJU - The Interior Ministry is to put on a regional ministerial conference on illegal migration. The conference is to be attended by ministers of Slovenia's neighbours and the eastern European region. Slovenian Interior Minister Rado Bohinc is scheduled to open the conference.
THOERL-MAGLERN, Austria - Interior Minister Rado Bohinc is to take part in the signing of a document on cooperation between the Slovenian, Italian and Austrian governments in the Thoerl-Maglern police centre.
MUENSTER, Germany - Slovenia's radiological, chemical and biological defence unit is to take part in the Golden Mask international military exercise to test its interoperability with similar units from other NATO member states.
ZAGREB, Croatia - Agriculture Minister Milan Pogacnik is to head to the Croatian capital for the opening of the 80th Zagreb International Autumn Fair.
LJUBLJANA - The Government Structural Policy and Regional Development Office is to present its work since its inception in January of 2003.
LJUBLJANA - President Janez Drnovsek is to receive the credentials of the new Kuwaiti non-resident ambassador to Slovenia, Fawzi Abdulaziz Al-Jasem; the new non-resident ambassador of Canada to Slovenia, Robert Hage; and the new Bangladeshi non-resident ambassador to Slovenia Alimul Haque.

BRDO PRI KRANJU - A ministerial conference on European Union accession support is set to get underway. The event, which is being organised by the Government European Affairs Office, will be opened by Prime Minister Anton Rop.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The nominees for the new European Commission team, who are set to assume office in November, are to hold their second informal meeting. Slovenian Commissioner-designate Janez Potocnik is due to be on hand.
CATEZ OB SAVI - The Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to host a regional meeting to present Slovenian experiences in joining European institutions.
