Slovenia Aims at Alleviating Consequences of Statistical Effects
Brussels, 13 September - Slovenia is aware of the danger of losing EU regional funds due to its quick economic development and the statistical effect of the enlargement. Therefore, the country is examining ways to reduce negative consequences, Europe Minister Milan M. Cvikl said in Brussels on Monday. He also met with European Commissioner for Regional Policies Jacques Barrot to brief him on Slovenian arguments for the country's division into three regions.
