MONDAY, 20 Sept
NEW YORK, United States - FM Ivo Vajgl is to be on a visit to the United States until 23 Sept to attend the 59th session of the UN General Assembly.
LJUBLJANA - Chair of the Finnish parliamentary EU affairs committee Jari Vilen is to meet a delegation of Slovenian MPs.
PORTOROZ - A three-day conference about road safety and safety at work is to begin, to be attended by a number of experts from the EU and Slovenia's Interior Minister Rado Bohinc.
LJUBLJANA - Regional Development Minister Zdenka Kovac is to host a two-day conference on territorial cooperation in Europe, sponsored by the office of the Austrian prime minister within the Interact community initiative.
SLOVENSKE KONJICE - The German company Schefenacker Grah Automotive is to hold a news conference to present its new investment in Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - LUPA, the 3rd festival of NGOs, is to begin under the slogan "Non-Governmental Window to Europe", until 23 September.

NEW YORK, United States - President Janez Drnovsek is to attend and address the 59th session of the UN General Assembly. He is to meet UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and presidents of several countries on the margin of the session. FM Ivo Vajgl is to take part in a meeting of EU foreign ministers.
LJUBLJANA - The Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs is to present a national employment action plan for 2005.
LJUBLJANA - The 10th meeting of stock brokers, the Stock Market Focus, is to be organised by the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and the business daily Finance.
WEDNESDAY, 22 Sept
NEW YORK, United States - FM Ivo Vajgl is to meet chair of the 59th session of the UN General Assembly Jean Ping, and attend a meeting of EU foreign ministers with US Secretary of State Colin Powell. Several bilateral meetings are on his agenda, too.
LJUBLJANA - During his courtesy call, Director General of the European's Commission enlargement department Fabrizio Barbass is to meet PM Anton Rop and Europe Minister Milan M. Cvikl. He is to sign an agreement on an aid programme, the successor to the Phare programme.
ST. KANZIAN, Austria - A two-day conference of the Sustainable Energy Policy - interRegiona Action Program (SEPiRAP) is to begin. The Slovenian and Austrian energy ministers are to attend on the first day.
