Minority Fends Off Haider's Attack on the Act on Slovenian Language
Klagenfurt, 21 September - A Slovenian minority group has rejected the claims of Joerg Haider, the governor general of the Austrian province of Carinthian, that the act on the public use of the Slovenian language is nationalistic as it obliges all legal entities and individuals who conduct business in Slovenia to use Slovenian as the language of communication with their customers.
