The effects of the EC sanction on the Slovenian economy

Ljubljana, 28 November - The Economic Relationships Service of the Chamber of Commerce analyzed the effects of the EC and OECD sanctions on the Slovenian economy. Germany introduced new measures regarding the imports from Yugoslavia, demanding from the exporters that they present suitable documentation and pay a bail in the amount of customs dues that they will receive again after the ratification of a selective legislation. Italy too introduced specific sanctions regarding the duty-free imports as declared in the C-list of the Trieste agreement. USA as well as Japan withdrew the technical assistance given to Slovenia. The export of textile and black metallurgy to USA remains questionable.
