Ljubljana, 27 September - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 28 September:
LJUBLJANA - Javier Solana, the EU's foreign and security policy chief, who arrived in Slovenia on Monday, is due to meet his host, Foreign Minister Ivo Vajgl, and Prime Minister Anton Rop. Talks are expected to revolve around the situation in the Western Balkans, the preparations for Slovenia's OSCE presidency and the latest border incident with Croatia. A statement for the press is scheduled for 9:10 AM. (STA)
LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - Europe Minister Milan M. Cvikl will be visiting the Court of Justice of the European Communities and the European Court of Auditors. As part of his visit, Cvikl is scheduled to meet President of the Court of Justice, Vasilis Skuris (at 3 PM) and Slovenian judge at this court, Marko Ilesic. Meetings with Slovenian member of the Court of Auditors Vojko Antoncic (at 11:30 AM) and judge at the Court of First Instance, Verica Trstenjak (at 12:30) are also scheduled.
LJUBLJANA - Justice Minister Zdenka Cerar and her Serb counterpart Zoran Stojkovic are expected to sign a cooperation protocol. A statement to the press is scheduled for 10:30 AM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - France-based car maker Renault has called a press conference for noon to present a new model, Modus, whose production is to be launched at the Slovenian plant Revoz. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The 1st international conference on the management of courts will wrap up; a press conference is scheduled for 1:30 PM.
LJUBLJANA - The 10th Marketing Forum is to get under way at 3 PM, with a round-table debate on trade mark management to begin at 6:10 PM. The event is organised by the Slovenian Marketing Association and business paper Finance.

RIMSKE TOPLICE - A lease contract for the dilapidated spa Rimske Toplice will be signed by Regional Development Minister Zdenka Kovac and the government-chosen contractor, the Medical and Rehabilitation Centre; at 11 AM.
BLED - The first international workshop on small and micro companies will wrap up. The event is organised by the Small Business Development Centre.
LJUBLJANA - Marketing and media research company Cati is due to hold a press conference at 10 AM to speak of its expansion to Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia, as well as its project Product Group Manager (PGM).
LJUBLJANA - Ljubljanski sejem, the manager of the Ljubljana fair grounds, and Infos, the company organising Slovenia's largest IT fair, will hold a press conference to outline a joint project; at 11 AM.
LJUBLJANA - The working group on language planning and policy at the parliamentary committee on culture, education, youth, science and sports will hold a conference on the strategy of language planning in Slovenia; at 10 AM.
LJUBLJANA - A press conference is scheduled for noon with the announcement of the winners of the 11th international festival Ex ponto.
2004 GENERAL ELECTION
LJUBLJANA - Three-day early voting for the 3 October general election begins across the country.
LJUBLJANA - The opposition People's Party (SLS) has called a press conference for 2:30 PM featuring party president Janez Podobnik and secretary general of the European People's Party, Antonio Lopez Isturiz.
LJUBLJANA - Students will face off representatives of political parties standing in the general election at 6 PM.
