Journalist Strike Still Pending

Ljubljana, 29 September - Journalists and representatives of the media will hold working talks Wednesday to see whether the journalists' general strike, scheduled for election Sunday, can be averted. The Trade Union of Journalists will meet with the Association for Publishing and Media, but this is far from the journalists' demand that negotiations on a new collective bargaining agreement start immediately.
