EU Urged to Accede to Convention on Human Rights Protection

Bled, 30 September - Luzius Wildhaber, president of the European Court of Human Rights, called for the EU to accede to the European Convention on Human Rights as he addressed an international conference of constitutional courts on Thursday. This has now been commonly accepted as a necessity, he stressed.
