Textile industry breathes more easily

Ljubljana, 3 December - The EC ministerial council's decision to exempt the cooperative Yugoslav republics from the recently introduced sanctions against Yugoslavia means a great relief for the Slovenian textile industry, said the secretary of the Textile Industry Association of Slovenia, Viljem Tomat. The problems which appeared shortly after the introduction of the sanctions have thereby been removed and the business year will end as planned, he added.
