Ljubljana, 8 December - In the first days of December the dynamics of politics and society increased from day to day. The centre of attention was devoted to the recognition of Slovenia. The results of President Kučan's visit in Bonn raises hopes, this optimistic mood was increased by the abolition of the economic sanctions, although not entirely, of the European Community for Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Macedonia, sanctions accepted by the foreign ministers on December 2 in Brussels. Less encouraging were some responses to the possibility of recognizing Slovenia, above all coming from the USA.
