Kučan's letter to Bush

Ljubljana, 8 December - The President of the Presidency of the Republic of Slovenia Milan Kučan sent a letter to president George Bush after USA imposed economic sanctions against all of the republics of former Yugoslavia. In his letter Mr. Kučan expressed his surprise at this decision taken by the USA, stressing that Slovenia, Macedonia and Bosnia and Hercegovina are not at war with anyone. In Croatia, Serbia is pursuing a war of conquest, attempting to gain new territory which were never in the past a part of the Serbian state.
