Kučan leaves for The Hague tomorrow
Ljubljana, 8 December - The President of the Presidency of Slovenia Milan Kučan will tomorrow morning leave for Hague at the invitation of Lord Carrington, president of Conference on Yugoslavia, who sent the invitation to all of the republic's presidents. It will be an informal meeting behind closed doors. The talks will center around reports given by each of the presidents expressing their view about the developments of the Yugoslav crisis, particularly within the individual republics after the last plenary session of the Hague Conference. However, it is expected that the central topic of the meeting will be the opinion of the Arbitration Commission which was sent to Lord Carrington by the president of the Commission Robert Badiner. This opinion provides the basis for the official recognition of Slovenia, Croatia and all other republics that so wish, coming at a key moment of the Hague Conference.
