Foreign Diplomatic Missions in Slovenia
Ljubljana, 9 December - Today another foreign mission began functioning in the Slovenian capital. One is the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, what some like to see as a further step towards an international recognition of Slovenia, will after the formal recognition of Slovenia become an embassy. There are presently four consulates in Slovenia: Austria is represented by Dr. Jutta Stefan-Bastl, Germany by the new Consul General and distinguished diplomat Dr. Guenther Seibert, Italy's consulate in Ljubljana headed by Fabio Cristiani and one in Koper headed by Luigi Solari.
