Slovenia: Little Interest in Part Time Jobs

The European Union, which had in 1993 just over 15.7 million unemployed people, while this year's May unemployment was 10.9 per cent, is, besides writing the White book of unemployment, trying to solve this problem by employing workers on shorter working hours or with the part time employing. According to the recent National Employment Office poll on cadre potential, the results of which are also relevant in international terms, there is 12,500 part time workers in Slovenia.
