Agreement on Road traffic connections with Germany
Ljubljana, 10 December - Slovenian road transport companies will next year also be granted the necessary permits at the already specified border crossings with the Republic of Germany. Similarly, Slovenian road transport companies will during the transition period be able to continue driving on scheduled passenger routes, as well as on other kinds of bus transport to Germany, on the basis of the already issued permits. This was decided at last nights meeting between Slovenian and German representatives in Munich. They were primarily concerned with ensuring passenger and goods traffic after the suspension of agreements between Yugoslavia and Germany, which is to take effect today. The German side gave its assurance that it will not demand additional permits from Slovenian transport companies until a different agreement is reached with our republic.
