Ljubljana, 13 December - Slovenia's President Milan Kučan today received together with Presidency members Ciril Zlobec and Dušan Plut a delegation representing the Slovene women's movements - organizers of the protest meeting under the heading of "For Freedom of Choice" that took place before the building of the Slovene Assembly on Wednesday. The delegation, led by Vlasta Jalušič put forward the Slovene women's' movements' demand that the current Article 55 (ensuring women the right to abortion) remain in the constitution as it is and that the new constitution should not lessen the rights already ensured by the current constitution. Milan Kučan and the members of the Presidency supported the demand for the preservation of Article 55 and agreed that the new constitution should in no way diminish the human rights already attained by the citizens of Slovenia.
