Foreign minister Rupel: Final recognition of Yugoslav republics
Ljubljana, 17 December - "It is the final recognition of Yugoslav republics by the European Community. On January 15 or some other day, the Twelve will not be meeting to discuss the recognition. A month's delay means no loss for us. That will be a holiday season, the governments will not be meeting and the conditions in the international community will further consolidate", Slovenian foreign minister Dr. Dimitrij Rupel told journalists on returning from Brussels.
