Ljubljana, 13 August - The second week in August saw extremely high temperatures, still not completely put out fires on Karst and perpetual danger of new conflagrations due to very dry weather and winds. Other characteristics of this week was a political calmness due to parliamentary holidays. Also some politicians are indulging in well earned holidays while others are preparing for the local elections.
