Review of Slovenian Economy from August 8 to 13
Ljubljana, 13 August - In 1993, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth in Slovenia was 1.3 per cent, reported the National Statistics Office. After five years of negative growth, this is the first positive GDP growth. In July, the retail prices increased by 0.9 per cent, while the producers' prices by 1.3 per cent. This year's six month exports were up by 7.2 per cent and the imports by 2.1 per cent over last year.
