PRESS REVIEW FROM SLOVENIA, DECEMBER 19, 1991
Ljubljana, 19 December - VEČER: Six divided by six is one - The European arbitrators, otherwise putting us in a somewhat awkward position, finally had to acknowledge that all the newly emerging states are not to be thrown in a single basket. They had to realize that Slovenia already is independent and that this fact can not be changed even by most insidious political ploys, stresses his point Mr. Mirko Lorenci. He does not exclude however the possibility that e.g. the "new Serbia" will live in brotherhood and unity with Monte Negro and Bosnia and Herzegowina, possibly even with Macedonia, but without the Macedonians, and with Kossovo without the Albanians, but he deems it more probable that at the end six new independent units will emerge, with the proviso, that those that will achieve independence more swiftly will also achieve it more completely.
