Ljubljana, 12 December - Slovenia's economy is as of this week in the hands of the new government, as new ministers took charge of their offices. The new government took on the challenge of the tax reform at its first session, while Economy Minister Andrej Vizjak negotiated an extension of the deadline for government's response to the damage lawsuit mobile operator Vega filed against the state in late October. Two big takeovers echoed in the public this week - Brewer Pivovarna Lasko became majority owner of rival Pivovarna Union and energy and tourism company Istrabenz published a bid to acquire food company Kolinska.
