LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary finance and monetary policy committee is to discuss changes to the tax procedure act, the tax administration act and the corporate income tax act at an emergency session at 12.30 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Ironworks are to present their business results and plans until 2010 at a press conference at 10 AM. (STA)

SLOVENJ GRADEC - The car-seat cover manufacturer Prevent is to present its 2004 business results at a press conference at 10 AM. (STA)

TRIESTE, Italy - The two Slovenian umbrella minority organisations, the Slovenian Cultural and Economic Union (SKGZ) and the Council of Slovenian Organisations (SSO), are to meet Alessandro Tesini, the president of the regional council of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, at 3.30 PM.

TRIESTE, Italy/KOPER, Slovenia - The Slovenian Research Institute is to present a project, "Majorities Meet Minorities", which made part of the Interreg IIIA Italy-Slovenia 2000-2006 initiative.

LJUBLJANA - A panel debate on whether information of public character is really accessible is to be held at 11 AM, organised by the Peace Institute and the Council of Europe Information Centre.

LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Writers' Association is to present the Jenko Award for the best collection of poems published in the past two years; at 8 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The international animation film festival "Animateka: Re-Drawing Europe 2004" is to be launched, to run until 18 December.
