Ljubljana, 20 December - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 21 December:

LJUBLJANA - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to comment on topical political developments at a press conference scheduled for 1 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Economics Minister Andrej Vizjak is to outline his long-term vision of economic policy and priorities of his term in office. The press conference, scheduled for 1 PM, will also be attended by officials in charge of specific departments within the ministry. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The corruption prevention commission is to present the results of a public opinion survey on corruption and a form that will be distributed to all public office holders for the registration of their wealth; at 1 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The collegiate body of parliament is to hold a session to discuss the parliament's agenda for 2005 at noon. (STA)

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Agriculture Ministry State Secretary Franci But is to attend a session of the Agriculture and Fisheries Council, the last this year. The ministers are expected to set the total allowable catches for 2005. The system does not apply for the Mediterranean and therefore does not affect Slovenia.

LJUBLJANA - The executive council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry is to hold a session at 3 PM, to be attended by Economics Minister Andrej Vizjak.

LJUBLJANA - Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Jure Zupan and MEP Ljudmila Novak are set to present European Parliament resolution on Europass at a press conference scheduled for 11:30 AM. Novak has drawn up a report on the introduction this passport style document for the recognition of skills and training throughout Europe.

LJUBLJANA - Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Janez Drobnic is to introduce his team and the priorities of his term in office at 11:30 AM.

LJUBLJANA - Carlo Masalo, a professor and researcher at the NATO Defense College in Rome, is to give a lecture at 5 PM omn the theme "European Security and Defense Policy and NATO".

LJUBLJANA - An exhibition of Ravenna mosaics will open at the Cankarjev dom arts centre at 8 PM.
