LJUBLJANA - The cabinet is to hold its regular weekly session, discussing, among other things, the preparations for the 2005 OSCE presidency. A news conference is expected at 2 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The parliament is to hold a ceremonial session at 7 PM to mark the 14th anniversary of the independence referendum. A national ceremony is to follow in the arts centre Cankarjev dom at 8 PM to mark 26 December, Independence Day. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Constitution Day will mark 13 years since the Slovenian assembly adopted the first Constitution of the independent Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - A bust of the former Yugoslav President Tito is to be unveiled in the garden of the house of the leader of the National Party (SNS) Zmago Jelincic at 11 AM to mark the day on which Slovenia held its independence referendum 14 years ago.
TRIESTE, Italy - A press conference at 10 AM upon the conclusion of 12 Interreg-sponsored projects between the Slovenian minority in Italy and the Italian minority in Slovenia in culture and sports.
MURSKA SOBOTA - Clothes maker Mura is to hold a news conference at 10 AM to present its 2004 business results and plans for 2005.
LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian basketball club Olimpija is to play Scavolini in the 8th round of Euroleague; tip-off at 8.10 PM. (STA)
