Jansa: Period of Slovenian Unanimity Was Short but Important
Ljubljana, 23 December - Unanimity of Slovenians, which developed into a force strong enough to form an own state, was present for a short, yet decisive period only during the December 1990 plebiscite and the war for independence in 1991, PM Janez Jansa said on Thursday in his address to the main ceremony ahead of Independence Day. He said this period was a symbolic origin of the Slovenian community.
