Economist Warns Against Sell-Off of Slovenian Banks
Ljubljana, 26 December - More than half of the Slovenian banking sector is already in foreign hands. Given the current trend, 60 percent of Slovenian banks will be foreign owned when the country joins the euro zone in 2007. The figure is to stand at more than two-thirds by 2010, a distinguished economist believes.
