Koper - Drač shipping route postponed

Koper, 5 January - The beginning of trial ship transport between the ports Koper and Drač (Albania) has been postponed for a few days. As we found out from Splošna Plovba (General shipping agency) in Portorož, the reason for this is the delay of the ships which are supposed to transport freights between the above stated ports. That is why the ships which had to go on their path for the first time on January 6, will actually cast off towards the south at the end of the following week. The new nautical link, which will be a trial one for now, is above all to connect the north and south of former Yugoslavia and through this bridge the difficulties in trade between Slovenia and Macedonia, caused because of the broken traffic land communications.
