The meeting between the representatives of Croatia, Yugoslav Army and EC monitors was canceled

Zagreb, 8 January - The member of the EC monitoring mission Joao da Silva said that the head of the EC mission has today called for a meeting between the representatives of the Croatian army, Yugoslav army and European monitors at which yesterday's shooting down of the helicopter and the future safety of the EC monitors in Croatian was to be discussed. The head of the EC mission has suspended all activity of the monitors in the field before the meeting is held.
