The Italian President, Mr. Francesco Cossiga, to visit Slovenia tomorrow

Ljubljana, 16 January - The press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that the Italian President, Mr. Francesco Cossiga, will visit Slovenia on Friday, January 17, on an invitation by Mr. Milan Kučan. On this occasion President Cossiga will deliver the formal statement of the diplomatic recognition of the Republic of Slovenia to President Kučan. An agreement on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Italy will be signed on the same occasion.
