Slovenia and Hungary established diplomatic relations

Ljubljana, 16 January - The ex-General Consul in Zagreb, Mr. Gabor Bagi, delivered a statement on the diplomatic recognition of the independence of Slovenia to the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Dimitrij Rupel. At the same occasion he proposed the establishment of diplomatic relations between Slovenia and Hungary. Mr. Tibor Bagi, the new Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary in Slovenia, stated for STA that the opening of the Hungarian Embassy in Ljubljana remains to be a matter of mere technicalities.
