Government adopts an illegal constructions intervention law

Ljubljana, 18 March - GOVERNMENT/SESSION
At a session held today, the Slovenian government adopted a proposal to issue a law altering and amending the town planning and environmental intervention law, the so-called moratorium intervention law concerning the demolition of illegal construction. This will put a ban on the demolition of illegally built constructions for a period of up to two years, said Miha Jazbinšek, the minister of Environment and Regional Planning, at a press conference today.
