Ljubljana, 17 January - DELO: AFTER THE RECOGNITION WHAT? - Darijan Košir advises that if Slovenia intends to enforce its international recognition to the full extent then it must be excepted as a member of the UN because this may also open up many financial doors. And if it wishes to be excepted by the UN, Slovenia must immediately start establishing better relations with those countries which during its struggle for recognition, it took for granted. This particularly applies to the two permanent members of the Security Council, Russia and China, as well as to the nonaligned countries, of which there are more than one hundred at the UN General Assembly, added Košir.
