Ljubljana, 24 February - Below is a schedule of events for Friday, 25 February:

LJUBLJANA - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to present the Foreign Ministry's priorities for 2005 to the press at 1 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk is to speak to the press at noon about the Finance Ministry's priorities for 2005. (STA)

VIENNA, Austria - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to take part in a European Congress marking the 10th anniversary of Austria's accession to the EU.

SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is due to pay an official visit to Bosnia-Herzegovina, where he is to hold separate meetings with Bosnian counterpart Nikola Radovanovic and EUFOR commander David A. Leakey. Erjavec is also expected to visit Slovenian soldiers serving in EU's peace-keeping mission in Bosnia. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Matjaz Jansa, the acting head of the Economics Ministry's Directorate General for Electronic Communications, is scheduled to speak to the press at 11 AM.

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary EU affairs committee is to hold a closed-doors session to discuss Slovenia's standpoints for two upcoming sessions of the EU Council: agriculture and fisheries (28 February) and employment, social policies, health and consumer protection (3 March). Committee chair Anton Kokalj is to speak to the press after the session at 3:45 PM.

LJUBLJANA - A public debate is to be held on the future of the Lisbon Strategy in Slovenia and the EU, organised by the European Commission's Representation Office in Slovenia. Among those expected to take part in the debate is European Commissioner for Science and Research Janez Potocnik and the head of the Institute for Macroeconomic Analysis and Development Janez Sustersic.

LJUBLJANA - The management of SKB, Slovenia's second-largest private bank, is to present last year's results and plans for 2005 to the press at 11:30 AM.

LJUBLJANA - Health Minister Andrej Brucan and the general manager of the Oncology Institute Zvonomir Rudolf are to sign a contract with medicinal products supplier Sanolabor for a new linear accelerator for cancer treatment in Ljubljana.
