Merkur Reports Record Profit Despite Mounting Losses at Bofex

Ljubljana, 24 February - Slovenia's leading hardware and electronics retailer Merkur has reported record profits of SIT 2.66bn (EUR 11.1m) for 2004 despite seeing the losses at its consumer electronics unit Bofex balloon to a massive SIT 4.5bn (EUR 18.8m).
