Kranjska Gora: Raich Wins as Miller Fails to Finish
Kranjska Gora, 26 February - Benjamin Raich of Austria has won the Kranjska Gora World Cup giant slalom with a lightning fast second run. Raich's win takes him closer to Bode Miller of the US in the overall World Cup standings. Miller, a two-time winner of the Kranjska Gora giant slalom, looked good to overtake Raich in the second run but failed to finish after his ski came loose on a bumpy stretch of the steep slope.
