Average Slovenian Farm with 7.3 Hectares of Land
Ljubljana, 27 February - Slovenia had almost 61,400 agricultural holdings in 2003 with a size of at least one European size unit (ESU). These farms employed 84,300 people and used 448,800 hectares of farmland, which means that the average farm has 7.3 hectares of land, according to a Eurostat survey of the structure of farms in Slovenia.
