NKBM Posts Higher Profit, Falls Short of Asset Target
Maribor, 28 February - Slovenia's second largest bank, Nova Kreditna banka Maribor (NKBM), generated SIT 5.96bn (EUR 25m) in pre-tax profit last year, which is 4.6% more than planned and 10.4% more than in 2003. According to unaudited results released by the bank on Monday, total assets increased by 10.8% to SIT 602.95bn (EUR 2.5bn), which is SIT 72bn (EUR 300m) short of the target.
