Luka Koper Must Follow Environmental Standards, Minister Says
Ljubljana, 1 March - The port of Koper must consider environmental criteria in its development, as economic interests ignoring the environment do not enable development in the long-term, Environment Minister Janez Podobnik said on Tuesday. Speaking in a debate about the development of Slovenia's only port, Podobnik said that no study had been made to examine the influence of the port's development on the environment.
