LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Euro-Atlantic Council and the Association for International Relations are to hold a debate at 5 PM about the cooperation between the OSCE, the EU and NATO. Among those attending will be head of the European Commission Representation Erwan Fouere, Monika Wohlfeld of the OSCE Conflict Prevention Centre and Pol de Witte of NATO. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to meet Ljubljana Archbishop and Slovenian Metropolitan Alojz Uran and head of the Slovenian Bishops' Conference Franc Kramberger. Press statements are to be given at 14:30. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Health Minister Andrej Brucan is to present his ministry agenda in 2005 to the press at 2 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Government is to discuss a draft programme of measures of the 2005 active employment policy and a draft decree that will define the local border crossing Hotiza with Croatia. A press conference will follow at 2 PM. (STA)
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affirs Janez Drobnic is to attend the EU council for employment, social policy, health and consumer affairs, which will discuss preparations for the spring EU summit.
SEMPETER PRI GORICI - Mayors of the SE region of Primorsko are to sign at 2 PM a joint statement addressed to the Italian public and issue a call upon the Slovenian government about the misrepresentation by some Italian politicians of historical facts about Fascist violence.
LJUBLJANA - A debate about changes awaiting the public sector is to open at 9 AM with an address by the Chamber of Commerce president Jozko Cuk.
LJUBLJANA - The assembly of the Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance (ZPIZ) is to discuss the management board proposal to appoint Marijan Papez the new head of ZPIZ for a four year term at a session at 10 AM.
KRANJ - A group of 31 members of the 18th battalion for radiological, chemical and biological defence of the Slovenian Armed Forces are to leave for the international military exercise Gripho 2005 in Spain.
LJUBLJANA - The expert council of the Slovenian Democrats (SDS) is to present to the press its agenda in the upcoming period.
LJUBLJANA - The founding assembly of the Centre for Development Cooperation North-South is to take place at 6 PM. The centre aims at boosting cooperation with people in developing countries in a bid to fight poverty, boost sustainable global development and achieve fair distribution of global resources.
LJUBLJANA - The Jurcic Award for "pursuit of truth in journalism" is to be conferred by the Nova revija publisher and the Slovenian Writers' Association.
