Slovenia Could Have 10,000 New Cancer Patients Next Year
Ljubljana, 7 March - Current trends suggest that Slovenia could register 10,000 new cancer patients in 2006, according to Dr. Zvonimir Rudolf, the director of the Ljubljana Oncology Institute. This is despite the fact that Slovenia made the commitment as it joined the EU to implement the long-term cancer control plan, he stressed.
